I'm still getting BTIHarwarePreset = False after updating my 7010s. I have updated 3 now and all have the same result even though the firmware updated successfully. It seems the ME portion of the update is failing but that just shows as a warning. I have submitted a ticket to Dell but I'm not holding my breath on a response. Certainly I'll update the post with anything I find or get back.

UPDATE: Several responses confirm that the 7010 firmware is one of a handful that Dell released that does not properly inject Intel's microcode. Many of us have reported it to Dell but they have not been responsive or updated it on their bulletin with any sort of acknowledgement. Looks like it may be a while.

Update 1/14: Dell has not acknowledged their 7010 patch as being ineffective yet. Please create tickets and make yourself known as much as possible.

Update 1/17: 7010 and 9010 (among others) have been acknowledged and switched to'In Process' on Dell's bulletin.

Update 1/22: 7010 is no longer showing on Dell's article. This is almost certainly related to Intel's new revelation that their first round of microcode updates were merde flawed and causing most i-series processors to reboot randomly.
